No trip to Savannah would be complete without a visit to Riverstreet
This girl loves to eat and wear pasta!
It was chilly!!!!!!
"Can I go in the fountain?"
"I really want to run through it! It looks like so much fun."
"I can? Oh, I don't know how I feel about that!"
"Okay, I'll do it!"
"Maybe I will think about it for a minute."
"Let's do it!"
"That was so much fun!!!!! Let's do it again!!"
This is one wet little girl!
Byrd Cookie Company...one of my favorite places from Childhood! And now they have a cookie bar that serves milkshakes...makes me so happy!!!
This picture means even more now that the Harrelson clan had to put her down this weekend. We love you Pansy!
Visiting with Grandpappy
Thanks Riley for such a yummy shrimp and grits dinner :-)
Lily practicing her map skills. She was giving us directions through the wildlife refuge. Again, another place I loved when I was a kid.
"Look, a huge alligator!!!"
Spending some time in The Landings taking a walk down memory lane. I got to take Lily to two of my favorite places from when I was her age...the tower and the marina. So many memories in those two places :-) It was cold and windy as the huge storm was moving in so we didn't stay long!!!!!
Riley's phone got a text from Clay and it was making a loud beeping noise every 5 minutes while we were all going to sleep. CJ thought he would hide her phone under all the pillows to silence it...nope still could hear it from bed!!!
I didn't get any pictures on Sunday but we went to my Grandpappy's church and out to brunch before we hit the road. Lily was the youngest person in church, followed by CJ and I, then Aunt Riley. It was not a young crowd. Lily sat through her first big church service. She pulled me up to the front for the children's sermon which was just for her. The pastor got done telling his not so friendly kid's sermon on transfiguration. At the end he closed by saying the Jesus loves us. Lily responded, loud enough so most of the church could hear her, "I already know that!" I got a good laugh :-)
It was such a fun trip! Riley is a trooper for spending the day roaming around Savannah. Thanks for being an incredible hostess!!! We love Aunt Riley and Grandpappy!!!
